- Economic Opportunity Institute
The Economic Opportunity Institute did an analysis of the nation's first minimum wage law (1998) that raised the minimum wage and linked it to the annual cost of living index. This organization is tracking the successful effort in Santa Fe to secure living wage legislation.
- Wider Opportunities for Women
Wider Opportunities for Women launched the Family Economic Self-Sufficiency (FESS) project with three other national partners, creating tools and resources to assist community-based organizations, policy-makers and government agencies in addressing a range of policy issues once in the federal domain, but quickly becoming the responsibility of state and local governments.
- Six Strategies for Family Economic Self-Sufficiency
An offshoot of the Wider Opportunities for Women web site. The project provides resources and technical assistance to community-based advocates and states on human resource investment policies to help move families out of poverty.
